Xi Jinping Attends a Ceremony and Receives the Manas Order of the First Degree Awarded by President Sooronbay Jeenbekov of Kyrgyzstan

On June 13, 2019 local time, President Xi Jinping attended a ceremony in Bishkek and received the Manas Order of the First Degree awarded by President Sooronbay Jeenbekov of Kyrgyzstan.

The awarding ceremony was held in the Ala-Archa state guest house. The emcee of the Kyrgyz side read out the presidential decree on awarding the Manas Order of the First Degree. Sooronbay Jeenbekov awarded Xi Jinping the Manas Order of the First Degree. The Manas Order is the highest national prize of Kyrgyzstan awarded by Kyrgyz President and has three degrees, of which the first degree is the highest one.

Sooronbay Jeenbekov appreciated Xi Jinping's special contributions to the development of the Kyrgyzstan-China comprehensive strategic partnership. He said that Kyrgyzstan will never forget China's long-term and valuable support and assistance, and believed that President Xi Jinping's visit this time will open up a new chapter of Kyrgyzstan-China relations.

Xi Jinping said that the Manas Order of the First Degree awarded to me by President Sooronbay Jeenbekov has fully demonstrated the Kyrgyz people's profound friendship towards the Chinese people, which I value very much. And I am ready to join hands with President Sooronbay Jeenbekov to deepen the traditional friendship of the two countries, and push forward the China-Kyrgyzstan comprehensive strategic partnership for new achievements, so as to better benefit to the two peoples.

Ding Xuexiang, Yang Jiechi, Wang Yi, He Lifeng and others were also present.
